Pam Charles was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK. She had twenty years in the insurance industry before she was diagnosed with Meniere's disease. After losing her job and graduating with a first class honours degree at Leeds Metropolitan University, she followed her childhood dream of becoming a writer. It's been a tough learning curve but in 2014 her first novel, Beyond the Past was published. She is working on many projects including scripts for television.
Pam's started a blog when she began her new career. It has been shortlisted for the UK Blog Awards for the two consecutive years it has been live.
Pam has two boys, her eldest is in the Sheffield Eagles Reserves, following his dream of becoming a professional rugby league player. She is a huge Liverpool FC fan (long story), was a season ticket holder at Leeds Rhinos until being a rugby league Mum took over her life. Pam is a self-confessed petrol head and now a proud member of the Writer's Guild of Great Britain.
